One of our patients, Stephanie Fisher recently posted the testimonial below to her Facebook wall. She gracious let us use it for our blog in hopes to help clear up a common misconception. Many people believe that lens implants are just a follow up procedure for patients who have had cataracts. This is not true. Stephanie, 47, recently had the lens implant procedure and did not suffer from cataracts. LASIK was also ruled out as a viable option to help correct her vision problems. “One down, one to go! I can’t begin to express the tears of joy I experienced when I went to Dr. Updegraff’s office today as he told me I had 20/20 vision in my left eye! I couldn’t finish the eye exam I was crying so hard.
I have suffered terribly with glasses and contact lenses most of my life. As most of my friends know, it was a constant battle with me and my eyes. Stephen A.
